Queridos Amigos,
El tiempo vuela.. ya a pasado más de un mes desde que viaje al Ecuador.. y aun no había podido terminar con los reportajes de aquella hermosa visita.
Hoy continuo con esos reportajes, dedicado al día de Fotografía Aeronáutica (Spotter) realizado en el Aeropuerto José Joaquín de Olmedo (IATA: GYE – ICAO: SEGU).

Este aeropuerto tiene una sola pista de 2.760 metros de largo con orientación 03/21.
Esta reunión se gestiona gracias al contacto que realice a mi nuevo amigo Danny Castro, Spotter de Guayaquil, con quien nos reunimos aquel día para hacer fotografías.
Por lo cual, muy temprano en la mañana del 12 de Octubre 2011, a eso de las 05:00, Alex, Kike y yo comenzamos nuestro camino hacia el aeropuerto, en donde Danny nos esperaría, en uno de los lugares de Spotteo.
Fuimos recibidos por él, en una calle que da perpendicular al aeropuerto, de manera muy amable y cordial, y allí nos indico que este era un buen lugar para hacer algunas capturas.

Después de aquella secuencia, obviamente no podía faltar la presencia de la seguridad del aeropuerto, quien “amablemente” (no se que tienen con las cámaras) nos solicitaron que nos retiráramos del lugar, así que nos fuimos a tomar desayuno, y estando allí, a alguien, mantendré en secreto quien fue, comenzó a mover algunos contactos para poder entrar al aeropuerto.. y se logro un permiso para poder ingresar a las dependencias de la unidad Aero policial de Guayaquil… desde donde continuamos tranquilamente, sin que nadie nos molestara, haciendo nuestras fotos y conversando.

Escuchamos por la radio que el Martin Air, solicita la pista 03 para despegar, a lo cual, después de un rato de incertidumbre se la otorgan, pero con la condición de hacer un giro rápido a la izquierda a 330° a lo que el piloto responde “No problem, we can do that”.

Y con la gran muestra de potencia y versatilidad en el despegue y posterior viraje del MD-11 de Martín Air, concluía una jornada memorable de Spotting en SEGU.
SEGU, es un aeropuerto con bastante trafico, si bien la mayoría es nacional, mezcla la aviación comercial y civil, por lo que nunca paso mucho tiempo sin que se cruzara algún avión por enfrente, no como SCEL, en donde pasan incluso horas sin que nada pase..
Fue una jornada para recordar en compañía de Alex, Danny y Kike, donde compartimos mucho de aviación y desde donde nos llevamos nuevos amigos… el clima no acompaño mucho, pero la verdad no importo… lo pasamos muy bien igual.
Agradezco a quien hiso posible que estuviéramos allí en esa increíble posición, dentro del aeropuerto, agradezco a Danny por su amistad, sus conocimientos y su buena onda para con nosotros.. los Spotters unidos y comprometidos son lo mejor !!
Dedico este post a mis amigos de Guayaquil, a Danny, Kike y a mi gran Alex Espinoza… pero en especial a dos personitas Ariel y Axel… “amigos.. sigan sus sueños.. no los dejen… que se pueden cumplir… Ariel.. estudia mucho y se que serás un gran Piloto…”
